A new member of the family

iMac G4I picked up Apple's DVD-burnin', flat-screenin', G4-sportin' new iMac over the weekend to use while my Titanium is being serviced for a broken hinge. I'll spare you a picture of the latter (and the duct tape holding the thing together). Like a lot of other people who have messed around with it, I had one immediate, visceral reaction: I need to make a movie.

As I've mentioned previously, though, my muse seems to have taken a leave of abscence. And just as I'm fond of saying that pirating a copy of Photoshop doesn't make you a graphic designer, buying a camera isn't going to make me a moviemaker, either. The last thing I want is to drop $2K on a camera so that I can learn to empathize with a plastic bag.
