Twin Peaks on DVD and crap beer

Artisan Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing Twin Peaks on DVD in February 2001. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me will be released separately by New Line Cinema on December 19. Apparently there's a problem in that the original cut of the movie was 3 hours 40 minutes, and another company own the rights to the deleted footage and wants an astronomical sum for it. More info is available at the link above.

Tuesday: Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay. I had no idea that they were owned by crap beer purveyor Anheuser-Busch until this week. If there's one thing I hate about beer, it's the phony intellectualization and empty "tradition" that goes along with it. I was reading this very history while trying to choke down a quarter of my complimentary Dixie cup of AmberBock before throwing it away in shame and disgust.
